Let the storm come !!!

The above picture is still the dry river bed of Limpopo near Sentinel Farm. But at a certain point between December and February this year the same river bank was bursting it’s seams and raging.

In its rage it carried uprooted massive trees trunks for kilometres on end and only dumped them when the storms stopped.

In the image above all the trees and scree do not belong to the river bed. They got entangled in the small islands when the storm subsided.

These are the challenges that end up on you door step and at times fear make you belive they are there for eternity…. until the next storm comes.

When the next storm comes it will find the tree trunks cracked, bored by termites and slowly breaking apart and it will take a small nudge of the powerful water to break the huge tree trunks into smithereens and none existence and the little surviving debris will be taken further down the river.

So, do not be afraid of the coming storm. It bears more strength and will sweep away the ills of the past season from your doorstep.

Brace for the storm. It will take away the rubble.

Brace for the storm. It would rather bring new challenges for newer territories.

And at the seventh time he said, “Behold, a little cloud like a man’s hand is rising from the sea.” And he said, “Go up, say to Ahab, ‘Prepare your chariot and go down, lest the rain stop you.'” And in a little while the heavens grew black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain. And Ahab rode and went to Jezreel.

Remember, raging storms leave clean river banks. Same story with life, all challenges bring cleaner slates, greater wisdom and more courage to walk forward.

Superlative! It is unfortunate that we have neglected the art of gleaning and drawing fundamental principles of life as presented to us by nature (creation). God speaks to us through spiritual and natural laws (principles)…. For example;

And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
Matthew 6:28 KJV
http://bible.com/1/mat.6.28.KJV

Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?
Luke 12:24 KJV
http://bible.com/1/luk.12.24.KJV

When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;
Psalms 8:3 KJV
http://bible.com/1/psa.8.3.KJV

God Has always and will continue to use creation to teach, develop, establish, correct, rebuke, judge, heal, advance, elevate and promote men. All this is evidenced in the infallible scriptures and time would fail me to unpack all.

When God wanted to judge rebellion in nation of Israel in the form of Korah and the Reubenites rebelling against Moses His servant, He opened the earth to swallow them (Numbers 16).
When He defended the Gibeonites from the Amorite attack, He used hailstorm (Joshua 10), He used the river Jordan to heal Naaman of leprosy, spat on the ground made clay and annoited the blind man’s eyes and sent him to wash at the pool of Siloam, used 5 loaves and 2 fishes to feed the multitudes, opened the mouth of a fish to get a coin to pay taxes e.t.c.

Our neglect to carefully consider the lessons encapsulated in creation is to our detriment. Sir once again i salute you and celebrate the skill that God Has endowed you with to pull out the threads of divine principles out of the dry bed of the Limpopo River.

May God continue to use you to minister to us. Your messages are relevant to me and im always greatly impacted. Love you Brazzo

This is so powerful and inspiring brother.

Noma

when the storm rages many would rather run and seek cover but you rightly encourage to “Brace for the storm, it will take away the rubble”. The eagle uses the storm to gain altitude, thank you.

Christine

That’s how we get to change the world. Oh may God shower us with His grace so we have the courage to be game changers for the oppressed. Thank you husband, it’s food for thought.
